2026 Nissan Frontier Pro
The 2026 Nissan Frontier Pro is a midsize pickup designed, engineered and built in China by Zhengzhou Nissan for global markets. It offers a 2.0L turbo gasoline engine (190 kW / 400 Nm) and a 2.3L turbo diesel (140 kW / 500 Nm), both paired with a ZF 8-speed automatic and BorgWarner intelligent 4WD with centre and rear differential locks. At 5,520 mm long on a 3,300 mm wheelbase, it tows up to 3.2 tonnes.

About This Vehicle
Developed in China by Zhengzhou Nissan, the Nissan-Dongfeng joint venture, the 2026 Frontier Pro (锋坦) is the first Nissan pickup designed, engineered and manufactured in China, with global exports planned. The body-on-frame pickup uses double-wishbone front and five-link solid-axle rear suspension, with a 31° approach angle, 26° departure angle and 13 selectable drive modes for off-road use. Two powertrains are offered in China: a 2.0-litre turbo gasoline engine producing 190 kW and 400 Nm, and a 2.3-litre turbo diesel producing 140 kW and 500 Nm at 8.1 L/100 km (NEDC), both matched to a ZF 8-speed automatic. A 10.25-inch instrument cluster, 14.6-inch centre display, 540° panoramic imaging and L2+ driver assistance bring passenger-car comfort to the segment. The 1,520 × 1,600 × 550 mm cargo bed and 3.2-tonne braked towing capacity cover work duty. Built in left-hand drive; export specifications vary by market.
